“This has been a transformational experience for me. The Muve professionals are creating an environment where I can be accountable and self-sufficient in my recovery. These things weren’t being done to me, I was a key player on my team.”

Muve total joint replacement patient one year after surgery

Brian’s Story

“I’m 3 months out from surgery, but this has been a transformational experience for me. Muve does not feel like a traditional healthcare setting; in fact, it absolutely is not. The folks that are part of the Muve team have great specialization, but everything seemed to be centered around the patient. I do have experience, through many many surgeries, unfortunately (orthopedic and others) over the years, and I think the biggest difference for me was that the Muve professionals are creating an environment so that I can be accountable and self-sufficient in my recovery. These things weren’t just being done to me; I was a key player on my team. The Muve experience has been completely empowering for both myself and my wife, who has also been my caregiver in this experience. When I left the facility, I absolutely felt empowered and I think that’s a very unique approach to healthcare.”

Carol’s Story

“Just the decision to do this surgery was a big decision. The beauty behind ‘The Muve’ was we weren’t cookie cutter. The Muve team walked us through: ‘This is how we’re going to go from the time you walk in, to the surgery, to post op… so that when you walk out, Carol, you’re going to be able to take care of Brian and you all are going to be able to do this.’

I felt like crying. I have never, ever, in all of my experience and the different things I’ve done, had anybody show me how to take care of my patient. And that was the difference.”
