Brian was no stranger to surgery – orthopedic and other – before coming to Muve Lakeway for  Total Knee Replacement. His wife, Carol, was also very familiar with the typical healthcare experience associated with Brian’s surgeries – she’s been his caregiver and primary support person throughout all of them.

Once at Muve Lakeway, Brian and Carol quickly realized that this experience was going to be different. With his ongoing Muve Navigator partnership and the support of the Muve Lakeway care team, Brian felt empowered and educated, not overlooked, during his knee replacement and recovery experience. As Brian’s support partner for his total knee replacement surgery, Carol felt the difference in education and support, as well.

An avid cyclist, Brian is actively pursuing his goal of biking across the county and getting back to the life he loves post-recovery, with the support of his wife Carol.
